James Henry Ray, 70, of Lexington, died at his home on Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2010.
He born Aug. 19, 1939 in Kansas City, the son of Harmon and Elsie (Skaggs) Ray. On July 14, 1960, he married Patricia Ann (Nordsieck) Ray.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Harmon and Elsie Ray.
His survivors include his wife of 49 years; Patricia of the home; four sons: James Allen (Julie) Ray of Olathe, Kans. Jeffrey (Robin) Ray of Independence, Christopher (Melissa) Ray of Lexington, and Brandon (Vita) Ray of Oak Grove; eight grandchildren: Alexis, Zachary, Heather, Nick, Christian, Nicholas, Dakota, and MaLora; and one brother: Harmon Ray, Jr. of Dover.
