Coray M. Daehler, 87, Blue Springs, died Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Blue Springs.
He was born Oct. 21, 1922 in Mayview, the son of Russell Charles Daehler and Annie (Klaus) Daehler.
He was a truck driver for John Cobb Trucking until it closed in 1974 and then he worked for Reich Mushrooms of Odessa retiring in 1985. He graduated from Mayview High School and was a former member of the Amercian Legion. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Geroge Dewey, Virgil, Russell and Quentin.
He is survived by three children, Elaine and Shannon Carter, Livingston, Texas, Cynthia and Rymon Meadows, Blue Springs, and John and Debbie Daehler, Blue Springs; four grandchildren, Kristal Guerri, Anna Daehler, Kathie Lee Daehler and John Daehler and three Great-grandchildren, William Skivers, Coray Skivers and Allison Guerri.
