Anna Kathryn Kinshella Bedinger, 63, of Liberty, MO, passed away February 7, 2010 at Liberty Hospital. Kathy was born March 31, 1946 in Sedalia, MO, the eldest of five children of Ralph Batesole and Betty Jo (McCutchen) Kinshella. The family lived in Mountain View, MO and later on a farm near Bartlett, Shannon County, MO, until moving to Sedalia when Kathy was in fifth grade. She graduated from Smith Cotton High School in Sedalia in 1964. She received her registered nurse’s degree from Drury College (Burge School of Nursing) and later received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Washburn University. As an R.N. she worked with disabled veterans and later taught nursing skills in the Ft. Bragg, NC area.
